Highlights with the bat – Jamie’s jug avoidance with an excellent 49; Roob’s a stylish 38 until he was gunned down and forced to retire hurt with cramp/calf tear……..this became a theme of the weekend ☹; some exuberant late order running from Skip and Bomber until the inevitable tragic run out and Martin with some lusty blows before selling Bomber down the river going for an impossible 2nd run……all in all a great team effort.

Highlights with the ball – Shaun rediscovering his old venom removing their handy opener and then Joff with the ball of the season (jagged back about 12 inches to hit top of middle); Martin went wickless but bowled beautifully; Nick bowling 7 overs unchanged which really sealed victory as NH couldn’t get him away; Jez and Jamie both bowling a great yorker length when the NH’s gun bat was in and Skip bowling their 10 year old with a Jaffer. The undoubted highlight of the day was however a terrific catch by Diamond at backward point off Jez which elicited the loudest cheer of the day 😊
